Carlsberg is a low fermentation pilsner beer, with a strong hops, wheat, pine and apple taste. It contains 5% alcohol per volume and it offers a unique flavor to the Mexican portfolio. It was created by the Danish brewer J.C. Jacobsen in 1847 and launched in 1904. Its name means “hill of Carl” in honor of Jacobsen’s son. Its logotype was created by the Danish architect Thorvald Bindesboll in 1904. Since 1975 is has been known globally as “Probably the best beer”. It is the flagship brand of Carlsberg Group and has been imported into Mexico by Grupo Modelo since 2008.
